Notes
It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the
necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A
valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens.
Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality.
Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as
to visa requirements.
Space is limited and your desired travel dates may not be
available if you wait, so book early to avoid disappointment. We
highly recommend 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates and/or
accommodations.
7 day car rental based on strict 24 hour consecutive periods. The
lead person named on the reservation must be the main driver,
present at time of rental and payer of any additional charges with a
minimum age of 25 years of age. A credit card in the main driver's
name is required for pickup of the vehicle as a car return
guarantee. Acceptable credit cards are: Access, American Express,
Diners Club, Eurocard, Hertz Charge Card, Japanese Credit Bureau,
Lufthansa, MasterCard, Shell Switzerland and Visa. An authorization
is obtained on your credit card based on the estimated rental
charges; there must be sufficient credit on your card to cover all
charges. Additional drivers fee is CHF 8.35 plus tax per day and
each additional driver payable locally at time of car pickup. All
drivers must present a valid USA driver's license held for a minimum
of one year at the time of rental. Collision Damage Waiver and theft
protection are included but additional insurance, such as Personal
Accident Insurance, is available at time of car pickup and is paid
locally. Government tax (VAT) at the rate of 7.6% is included. A
Vehicle Licensee Fee (VLF) apply to all rentals and a Location
Service Charge will apply to all rentals with pick-up in
airport/railway station or some downtown locations and are payable
upon pick-up. Rentals will be charged an administration fee in case
of traffic fines. Rates do not include fuel. All Hertz vehicles are
rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with full tank
of fuel or a local refueling charge will apply. Child seats and
mobile phones are available on request from all locations. Luggage
racks are currently not offered. Additional charges for one way
rentals are based on location restrictions and the vehicle type
being rented. Hertz vehicles can only be driven into E.U. countries:
Austria, France, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden,
Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, Finland, Italy, United Kingdom and
Portugal as well as Norway and Switzerland.
Nonrefundable and non-changeable once paid in full.
Full payment due within 1 day of booking by 2pm.
Restrictions
*Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 30-day
advance purchase. Purchases within 30 days will incur additional
shipping and handling fees. Air carrier used in the package is based
on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights
connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any
time on your requested departure day. A $35 per person each way
surcharge applies for travel Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges of approx. $150
including the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment
apply. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be
added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. This is a
nonrefundable, non-changeable purchase. Certain other restrictions
may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request
will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted
your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm. 2nd and 3rd
choices for travel dates is highly recommended.
