Restrictions
3 day car rental based on strict 24 hour consecutive periods. The lead person named on the reservation must be the main driver, present at time of rental and payer of any additional charges with a minimum age of 25 years of age. A credit card in the main driver's name is required for pickup of the vehicle as a car return guarantee. Acceptable credit cards are: Access, American Express, Barclay Card, Diners Club, Eurocard, Hertz Charge Card, Japanese Credit Bureau, MasterCard, Mileage Plus First Card, Optima, Vector, Visa. An authorization is obtained on your credit card based on the estimated rental charges; there must be sufficient credit on your card to cover all charges. Additional drivers fee is EUR 4.44 plus tax per day, for each additional driver payable locally at time of car pickup. All drivers must present a valid USA driver's license held for a minimum of one year at the time of rental. Collision Damage Waiver and theft protection are included but additional insurance, such as Personal Accident Insurance, is available at time of car pickup and is paid locally. Government tax (VAT) at the rate of 12.5% is included. A Vehicle Licensee Fee (VLF) and Location Service Charge for all rentals with pick-up in airport/railway station or some downtown locations will apply and are payable upon pick-up. Rentals will be charged an administration fee in case of traffic fines. Rates do not include fuel. All Hertz vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with full tank of fuel or a local refueling charge will apply. Child seats are mandatory by law for children aged from 6 months to 4.5 years are available upon request at all locations. Luggage racks and mobile phones are currently not offered. Additional charges for one way rentals are based on location restrictions and the vehicle type being rented. Hertz vehicles may be driven into Northern Ireland with no restrictions and may also be driven into the U.K. with an AA 5-star cover obtained at any AA office prior to departure and inform Hertz at time of pick-up.
Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 30-day advance purchase. Purchases within 30 days will incur additional shipping and handling fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. A $35 per person each way surcharge applies for travel Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges of approx. $129 including the Sept. 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment apply. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. This is a nonrefundable, non-changeable purchase. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received.
