It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.

7 day car rental based on strict 24 hour consecutive periods. The lead person named on the reservation must be the main driver, present at time of rental and payer of any additional charges with a minimum age of 25 years of age. A credit card in the main driver's name is required for pickup of the vehicle as a car return guarantee. Acceptable credit cards are: H.C.C., Air Travel Card, American Express, Diners Club, Japanese Credit Bureau, Mastercard/Eurocard, Moevenpick, VISA Card. An authorization is obtained on your credit card based on the estimated rental charges; there must be sufficient credit on your card to cover all charges. Additional drivers fee is EUR 25.00 plus tax per rental payable locally at time of car pickup. All drivers must present a valid USA driver's license held for a minimum of one year at the time of rental. Additional insurance, such as Personal Accident Insurance and Theft Protection are available at time of car pickup and is paid locally. Government tax (VAT) at the rate of 16% is included. A Vehicle Licensee Fee (VLF) and a Location Service Charge will apply to all rentals with pick-up in airport/railway station or some downtown locations and are payable upon pick-up. Rentals will be charged an administration fee in case of traffic fines. Rates do not include fuel. All Hertz vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with full tank of fuel or a local refueling charge will apply. Child seats are mandatory from birth up to 12yrs old or 120cm height and are available on request from all locations. Luggage racks and mobile phones are currently not offered. Additional charges for one way rentals are based on location restrictions and the vehicle type being rented. Hertz vehicles can only be driven into E.U. countries: Austria, France, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, Finland, Italy, United Kingdom and Portugal as well as Norway and Switzerland.
