Day 1, Thu.
BOARD YOUR OVERNIGHT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.
Day 2, Fri. ARRIVAL IN
SPLIT, CROATIA.
Upon arrival you will be met by your local host andtransferred
to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3, Sat. SPLIT / ISLAND
OF HVAR.
This morning enjoy a tour of Split. Most of Splits
historical and cultural monuments can be found within
the walls of 1,700-year-old Roman Emperor Diocletians
Palace. Later, transfer to Split port for a boat ride
to the lovely Island of Hvar. Your local host will meet
you on arrival and assist with the transfer to your hotel.

Days 4 & 5, Sun. &
Mon.
ISLAND OF HVAR. Hvar boasts a wonderful Mediterranean
landscape and temperate climate. The town of Hvar is small
but breathtakingly beautiful. Its magnificent Piazza is
dominated by St. Stephens Cathedral and the oldest
municipal theatre in Europe. Perhaps, take a short boat
trip to nearby Pakleni Otoci and enjoy the beaches of
the islands of Palmizana and Jerolim. In the evenings
stroll through the narrow streets and indulge in its cafés
and restaurants. (B daily)
Day 6, Tue. ISLAND OF HVAR
/ ISLAND OF KORCULA.
Your host will assist you with the transfer to the boat
to the Island of Korcula. On arrival you will be met by
your Korcula host, who will help you transfer to your
hotel. Rest of the day is free. (B)
Day 7, Wed. ISLAND OF KORCULA.
History and tradition are apparent when you walk along
the paved streets and squares of this lovely town. Visit
the main square and see the Cathedral Square with St.
Marks Cathedral. Other buildings on the square include
the Bishops Palace and Abbatial Treasury, St.Peters
Church and the Church of Our Lady. Close to the square
is the family house of Marco Polo which holds several
inscriptions and exhibits from his time and life. Afterwards
you may wish to visit one of the local wine cellars and
sample some local wine. (B)
Day 8, Thu. ISLAND OF KORCULA
/ DUBROVNIK.
Today you will depart from Korcula by boat. Upon arrival
in Dubrovnik you will be met by your Dubrovnik host who
will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. The rest
of the day is free. (B)
NOTE:
Because of the narrow and historic roads in Dubrovnik,
walking is the primary way of getting around. Pack good
walking shoes.
Day 9, Fri. DUBROVNIK.
Dubrovnikis over 1,000 years old and an architectural
marvel. Entering its gates is like a step back in time
wind your way through the inner gate and enter
on to the Placa, the gleaming limestone street that runs
straight to the entrance gates at the other end of the
town. A tour here includes the Rectors Palace, Bell
Tower clock, Orlandos Column and the Sponza Palace.
You will also see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan
Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the
world. Later, perhaps visit St. Blaises Cathedral
or the open farmers market. During July and August,
Dubrovnik is host to one of the oldest and most popular
Summer Festivals in Europe, with a number of outstanding
theatre and music companies performing at various open
air venues around the town. (B)
Day 10, Sat. DUBROVNIK.
A day at leisure for shopping or sightseeing on your own.
You may also choose to join an optional excursion
your local host will be happy to help you plan your day.

Day 11, Sun. DEPART DUBROVNIK.
Your homebound flight arrives the same day. (B)
